Raised in a house that had spiritual activity, I was always interested in spirits. At a young age they frighten me, but as I grew older I wanted to know the rules that the spirits obey. As a teenager, I studied on and off about ghosts, reading everything I could and trying various experiments hoping to capture a voice or image of a spirit. In my 20’s I collected various stories and started lightly investigating locations.  I enjoyed field work and after my separation from my x, I was able to commit more time into investigating cases in NY. After Moving to Minnesota, I started Minnesota’s Beyond the Veil. I came up with that name because of my earlier studies. I was told that spirits dwell “beyond the veil” and

Psychic’s are able to pierce this veil to contact the spirits beyond. I and my group may not be psychic (with the exception of Linda) but with our equipments help we are able to look “beyond the veil” and catch glimpses of the spirit world.

Jack

Jack is my second; he has had experiences with the paranormal for most of his life and like me eager to learn more about it.

Married, with children, he and his wife has experienced a number of ghostly activity in various locations. Spirits seem to like his easy going personality and are curious about him as much as he is about them.

Linda

Through out her life Linda has sensed as well as seen spirits. While she was a child her parents did not understand her amazing gift and she felt that she could not confide in them. It was the typical, “nothing is there, it’s your imagination playing tricks on you.” that most parents say. As hard as she tried she could not block her gift.

Linda was one of my first students. She wanted to learn about the spirits that she has been seeing so she could decide on what steps to take. After my classes, she continued on to take spiritual classes and slowly dropped the wall she had built up.

She realized that she had a gift and she wanted to use it to help people. In the beginning of her ghost hunting with me, she was pleased when she received verification of what she had seen, either through the photos; eyewitness accounts, evps, or research of the property. 

Linda has now grown to the point where she is able to help the earth bound spirits cross over to the other side. 

She finds Spirit Rescuing very satisfying work.

Linda also helps the living with a verity of services, such as Angel guidance, Reiki, Readings, and House Clearing.

 Kathy A.  is a nurse during the day, giving care and comfort to the living. She has seen a number of unexplainable things and wanted to know more. After she took my class she became a valued member of the group

 The spirits also find that she has a comforting and understanding atmosphere about her. Children spirits seem to be drawn to her and will talk to her as she walks by them.

Kathy also brings logic to the group. She likes to try to figure out how and why things work. She has a good eye to catch natural explanations for some seemly ghostly activity.

My brother and I were surprised by "ghostly sounds" while exploring the old creamery in Floodwood Minnesota.

I haven't really ever pursued those types of things until now. I play the part of the resident skeptic and I'm looking to be really wowed by some evidence.

On most of the cases I've been involved with, there have been some things that I found interesting. As my experiences  mount along with evidence collected, I hope to be converted to a full on believer in the paranormal.

I currently work full time as an accountant. Being an accountant doesn’t allow me much personal interaction with people. But I love people and in order to fill the void my career leaves, I volunteer as often as I can for different organizations. I adopt soldier’s serving in Iraq, I am on the board of an organization created to help families that have a child with cancer and I conduct home interviews and provide transportation for an animal rescue group here in the Twin Cities.

     I have been a member of this ghost-hunting group since February 2008. I would call myself a “skeptical believer.” That is, I believe in the paranormal but am very skeptical and try to disprove occurrences before I ever consider them to be paranormal. This must be the analytical/accountant in me; I always need the facts and figures! That being said, I have had personal experiences with the paranormal – things that I have not been able to disprove. This makes me even more intrigued and that is what brought me to MN Beyond the Veil. I want to research, investigate and find out everything I can about the paranormal.

I love a good ghost story, don’t you?

As a youngster, I always loved to watch scary movies (actually I still do!).  Of course these movies sometimes led to nightmares for a young child, but I didn’t care.  I loved things that went bump in the night.

My interest in ghost hunting started in 5^th grade when I read an article about Ed and Lorraine Warren in my Weekly Reader. I thought it was so cool that the Warren’s investigated ghosts and I hoped that someday, I would be able to do that.  Well here it is, almost 40 years later, I am finally ghost hunting.

I am new to the group and have a lot to learn about the equipment and what factors may or may not be an explanation for paranormal activity.  I like to do things methodically, so ghost hunting is right up my alley.

In addition to ghost hunting, I have an interest in history.  I enjoy ghost hunting in old houses, historic buildings and cemeteries and then learning the history behind them. 

Rosie

Rosey, is one of our newest members.
 
RoseyStarted off as a disbeliever and skeptic; until she moved into her new home with husband Todd and children in 2006.

This house in Ramsey, MN was very active with many different types of hauntings. At her wits end, Rosey contact me. Since our visit she became a believer.

With many sleepless night's and a visit from Linda our medium, life has become manageable in her home and she has chosen to live with her spirit's for the time being. 

After taking my class and going on our field trip to the Landmark in St. Paul, MN she decided to join our team to help people like herself and to learn more about the supernatural. 

Todd

Todd has always been a believer in the supernatural; he has seen spirits since the age of 13.

He bought his first house from the original owner in Brooklyn Center, MN whose husband had passed away in the house.  After he moved in, he soon experienced paranormal activity throughout the house. It seemed to him that pervious owner did not cross over to the light.

He feels he is like a magnet to spirits. If he is in a location and there are spirits around, they will try to make themselves know to him.

Todd since has bought a different house in Ramsey, MN. Even before Todd and his family moved into their present home, paranormal activity faired up. Doors opening and closing, the sound of footsteps were heard, even seeing an apparition.

He is always out using the K2 and other device's he has purchase since living in this home.

Todd joined our team after taking my class and having our team out to investigate his home.

Because of his experiences, he hopes to help other's and put there mind at ease.
